ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two people were seriously injured and a third sustained minor injuries in a car crash Wednesday, Marietta police said.

Police said the crash happened on Dallas Acworth Highway at Bayside Drive just after 1:45 p.m.

A Kia was driving northbound on Dallas Acworth Highway when it crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a Hyundai.

The drivers of both cars were seriously injured. The passenger of the Hyundai sustained minor injuries. All three were hospitalized.
