ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A pedestrian was struck and killed early Thursday in Newton County, according to the sheriff's office.

The incident has blocked all lanes on Interstate 20 eastbound near Exit 101, the sheriff's office said.

Drivers are advised to use an alternate route such as Highway 278 and expect delays.
