(Atlanta News First) - An employee at a Smyrna mental health facility has been arrested after he allegedly raped a juvenile patient, according to court documents. Jalen Pugh faces charges of sexual assault on a person with a disability, statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and sodomy. On April 10, the patient, a girl under the age of 16, was checked into Ridgeview Institute Smyrna off Cobb Drive SE. According to his arrest warrant, Pugh started to hit on her, asking her inappropriate questions and saying he would bring a condom into work the next day. (Cobb County Police Department) At around 5 a.m. on April 11, Pugh allegedly came into the girl's room and sexually assaulted her. Police say he checked in to work at that time, two hours before his shift was supposed to start. Security cameras also showed him entering her room 10 times between around 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., according to the warrant.
