ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two people were arrested after a traffic stop uncovered a fraud operation in Fayette County.

Deputies said the car was traveling in the wrong lane.

When the car was stopped and searched, deputies found forged and stolen checks, at least eight fake IDs, disguises including a wig, drugs and  other materials commonly used to carry out identity theft and forgery schemes.

Both the driver and the passenger were arrested and face multiple felony charges, deputies said.

Law enforcement officials did not release the identities of the suspects.
