ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man was arrested Friday after a police officer's attempt to box him in ended with the suspect's car on top of the officer's vehicle, Sandy Springs police said.

Police said the officer was attempting to arrest Jorge Luis Delgado-Bermudez, who was wanted in Fulton County on a series of drug charges, and is facing federal charges related to his  ties to a larger criminal organization. 

The officer tried to box in Delgado-Bermudez's car, but forced the car into a concrete barrier, pushing its rear onto the officer's hood.

On Monday, the police department released the following video of the incident:

Delgado-Bermudez tried to run away but was arrested, the video shows.

The officer was not injured.
