(Atlanta News First) - A woman was arrested in Gwinnett County for allegedly hitting a police car while driving under the influence, Gwinnett County police said. Police said 27-year-old Mahrukh Zubair was seen driving north in the southbound lanes of I-85 on July 4. An officer tried to stop Zubair, but she hit his patrol vehicle and drove past him. The officer then turned around and stopped Zubair's car with two PIT maneuvers. A chemical breath test indicated Zubair's blood alcohol concentration was nearly twice the legal limit. Zubair was arrested and charged with felony interference with government property, driving under the influence, reckless driving, hit and run, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, improper lane change/failure to maintain lane and failure to signal a lane change or turn. #atlantanewsfirst #crimewatchatlanta
