ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two people, including a 16-year-old, were shot in DeKalb County on Friday morning, according to police.

Officers can be seen investigating on Timbers East Drive in unincorporated Lithonia. Police said the teen was shot in the head and is in critical condition, while the other person was shot in the shoulder.

Officers haven't said what led to the shooting or whether anyone has been arrested, but they did say they believe the teen may have been involved.
