ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Gwinnett County police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they say assaulted a woman while she was on her morning walk.

The incident happened on July 1 near the intersection of Old Norcross Tucker Road and Glenbrook Drive in Norcross, police said.

The suspect in the assault incident is described as a light-skinned Hispanic man with short black hair faded on the sides and curly on top. He looks to be in his late teens to early 20s and stands about 5-foot-7 inches, according to police. (Gwinnett County Police Department)

The victim told responding officers that she was walking just after 7 a.m. when a Hispanic man came from behind, assaulted her and ran toward Britt Road, police said.

He is described as a light-skinned Hispanic man with short black hair faded on the sides and curly on top. He looks to be in his late teens to early 20s and stands about 5 feet, 7 inches, according to police.

Authorities ask anyone who recognizes the suspect from the drawn sketches or has information about his identity to call Gwinnett County police at (770) 513-5300.
