 It's funny,  he told TODAY.  I just think Antinous isn't that bad. Like, I'm slightly worried now, because maybe if I watch it with an audience I'll be, like, horrified. Because I watch it and I'm just like,  He's just a guy.' 

Villain or not, Pattison said that he sees his character as having a certain glamour and to help get into character, he worked with the costume department to ensure that the materials used for his wardrobe gave Antinous the appearance of privilege and wealth, right down to his underwear.

 As soon as I read the script, I'm like,  I want to have cheetah underpants,'  he said.  I think Antinous is that kind of guy. He has this kind of sensuousness about him;  I just like pleasure.' And so I was kind of thinking you want to have the most luxurious underpants he can. 

All underwear aside, Pattinson, whose performance in  The Odyssey  is already being widely acclaimed by critics, said that if Nolan comes calling for another film, there'll be no hesitation this time.

 Oh yeah, for sure,  Pattinson said.  I basically said  yes.
