Duncanville police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened around midnight at the Wexford Townhomes.

Police found an adult man and a woman shot on Woburn Lane. Both were taken to a hospital; the man is expected to survive; the woman died.

Officers who were already in the area when the shooting occurred reportedly saw a white Dodge Challenger leaving the scene fast. Police chased the car. Police say the chase ended on I-20 in Dallas; Emajin Trevon Jackson was taken into custody. Police said Jackson is a person of interest in the shooting and is being held at the Tri-City Regional Jail in DeSoto on a charge of Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle. More charges are pending.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
