Davis, the only person to ever face charges in Shakur's 1996 shooting death, faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The verdict was reached in August just hours after closing arguments ended and the jury entered deliberations in the roughly two-week trial in a Nevada courtroom. Testimony largely focused on past interviews and other comments about the killing from Davis, a 63-year-old former gang member.

The panel of 10 women and six men heard from two dozen witnesses for the prosecution and three for the defense.

After the verdict, Judge Carli Kierny ordered Davis to be held without bail while he awaits sentencing.

Davis wasn't accused of firing the gunshots that killed Shakur at age 25, but prosecutors have portrayed him as a shot-caller who orchestrated the attack as retribution for a casino lobby brawl earlier on the night of Sept. 7, 1996, that involved Shakur, his entourage and Davis' nephew.
