duct, this matter is more appropriate for the criminal justice system, Mendoza's lawyer, Drew Moss, said in a statement, noting that the sexual assault claim was dropped due to the pending criminal charges in Massachusetts. Ms. Mendoza does not want her civil case to interfere with that process. Mendoza's earlier civil complaint alleged that Peters had sex with her after getting her so intoxicated that she was unable to consent. It also alleged that Mendoza woke up to find Peters having sex with her without her consent. The looksmaxxing personality known as Clavicular has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, online court records show. Peters' arraignment in the Massachusetts criminal case, previously scheduled for Oct. 14, was canceled, according to the case docket. The next hearing date appears to be on Oct. 22. The second civil complaint, however, no longer includes those explicit allegations of nonconsensual sex, instead stating that Peters had sex with Mendoza multiple times while she was intoxicated. It also does not include the original claim that Peters had sex with her while she was asleep. Moss did not respond to additional questions about the decision or why an attorney originally on the civil case filed a motion to withdraw on Friday. Peters' spokesperson declined to comment on Mendoza's latest civil complaint. The influencer has previously denied the criminal allegations and defended himself in a series of posts on X shortly after the charges were reported. The posts include a video of Mendoza calling Peters super nice. Mendoza's amended civil complaint still accuses Peters of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraudulent misrepresentation, fraudulent concealment, and unauthorized publication of name and likeness. The amended complaint also alleges that in November 2025, Peters invited Mendoza and her friends to his place in Delray Beach, Florida, for a streaming session on Kick after they ran into each other at a networking event in Miami. Mendoza alleged that during the livestream, Peters injected her with a syringe of Aqualyx, a fat-dissolving compound he did not reveal was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, which he said would reduce fat in her face, without her consent, according to the amended civil complaint. The amended civil complaint also provides more detail about the November 2025 incident, including that Peters allegedly knew Mendoza was a minor when he gave her the injection. It also includes screenshots of livestream viewers' comments warning Peters that Mendoza was 17 at the time. According to the civil complaint, Peters allegedly responded to comments about her age, defended their two-year age difference, and proceeded with the injections.
