continued to provoke their client by asking him about the meme in the presence of network leaders, and continuing to send images via text message in connection to the meme, at one point telling Bloomer that he was the only one upset about the meme. The lawsuit further alleges that Adell threatened to limit Bloomer's airtime in retaliation for his complaints, creating a hostile work environment that ultimately led to Bloomer's separation of employment from the network. Adell reportedly stated at the time that Bloomer resigned on his own because he wanted more airtime. He also stated at one point that Bloomer was fired for misappropriating funds from The Word Network, according to the complaint. The Jury found that Bloomer was subjected to a hostile work environment, retaliation and discrimination following a five-day trial and one day of deliberations. A spokesperson for Adell told Local 4 on Thursday that he has no comment on the case at this time.
