Canadian border officers seized more than 280 pounds of cocaine from a commercial truck crossing the Ambassador Bridge from the United States.

A drug-sniffing dog helped officers discover the drugs during an inspection of the truck, which was entering Canada from the U.S.

Two men from Ontario were arrested and face drug trafficking charges.

The Ambassador Bridge connects Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, and serves as a major commercial crossing between the United States and Canada.

Officials have not released additional details about the suspects or the investigation.
