Robert Isho, 34, of Troy, has been charged with reckless driving causing death in connection with a May crash that killed a Farmington Hills man, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.

The prosecutor's office issued a warrant Sept. 23 for Isho, charging him with reckless driving causing death, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

Isho was arraigned Sept. 30 before 48th District Court Magistrate Richardson.

His bond was set at $25,000 with a 10% provision.

Police said the crash happened around 11:42 p.m. May 30 at the intersection of southbound Woodward Avenue and Quarton Road.

Preliminary investigators said a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Isho was traveling westbound on Quarton Road at a high rate of speed when it ran a red light and struck two vehicles traveling southbound on Woodward Avenue.

The vehicles were a 2026 Dodge Charger driven by a 28-year-old Troy man and a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by a 30-year-old Farmington Hills man.

The impact sent the Camry several hundred feet west of Woodward Avenue, police said.

The Jeep caught fire, and police took its driver to a local hospital for evaluation.

The Camry driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Charger driver was not injured.

Police said speed and reckless driving likely contributed to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.

Officials urged motorists to slow down, avoid distractions, and obey traffic signals and other traffic laws.
