MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. - The Roseville Police Department is taking to social media to debunk a report that officers were involved in a shooting.

In a Facebook post, police say, they received numerous false social media reports with reference to the department being involved in a police shooting in the area of Martin   Groesbeck roads on Tuesday.


The department responded to an incident involving a person suffering from a mental health episode.

The individual was later taken into custody and transported to a local facility to receive necessary care.

The department confirms at no time was there any threat to the community.
