The Brief DHS reports that more than 120 people were arrested Sunday at a Memphis nightclub. The individuals taken into custody are accused of being in the U.S. illegally, while some of them also face other allegations. The raid was led by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and included multiple agencies.



A massive raid on a Memphis nightclub led to the arrest of more than one hundred people accused of being in the country illegally, including those who have a criminal record, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported .

The federal agency announced the arrests Tuesday, explaining that the multi-agency operation happened Sunday night at the  El Corralon  nightclub. The targeted enforcement effort, which was led by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and dubbed  El Corralon,  resulted in 121 arrests.

DHS highlighted several of the suspects arrested during the operation and listed some of the other crimes they were accused of committing or were convicted of, including larceny, commercial sex, child endangerment, aggravated assault, and cocaine possession.
