e brothers are not alone in their grief. Their uncle, Victor Salgado Araujo, was standing next to Lorenzo Salgado Araujo when he was shot and killed. Victor witnessed the entire incident firsthand and is still struggling with the trauma. Victor was the last of the three men in the van with Salgado Araujo to be released from Montgomery ICE processing center.

 He witnessed the worst of the worst. He saw his own brother killed right next to him. He can't sleep. He has loss of appetite. He has a lot of anxiety. His hands are constantly shaking. He remembers every second of what happened. And to hear from him is just heartbreaking. But he is very willing to say what he saw in court. He's very willing to - describing in great detail what happened that day,  Ronaldo said.

Victor, Ronaldo said, is prepared to testify about everything he witnessed.
