DICKINSON, Texas - A Dickinson police officer rescued a driver from a burning vehicle early Wednesday morning after emergency calls came in about a major crash on Interstate 45. Officer Brown arrived near Exit 19 around 2:56 a.m. and found flames coming from the vehicle's engine area. As the fire spread toward the passenger compartment, Brown located the driver and pulled him from the vehicle before moving him to safety. Dickinson police later determined the crash occurred within League City's jurisdiction.
