A safety alert was sent out by the Texas Southern Police Department after residents of an apartment on campus were robbed Wednesday.

Residents of Transformation Village, which is near TSU and the University of Houston, report that two unknown men entered their apartment uninvited and demanded property from the occupants at gunpoint, according to the alert from TSU police posted on Facebook Wednesday night.

The residents handed over their property and the suspects fled in an unknown direction. The apartment complex is on Rosewood and Scott Street and is listed as on-campus student housing primarily for freshman at TSU.


The suspects were last seen wearing all black with black masks.
