Two people were killed on Friday in a shooting reported in Hyde Park, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The shooting was reported at about 7:45 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 59th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard. There, a group of men opened fire on three other men and then took off in a vehicle.

One victim, who was described as a man in his 40s, died at the scene. A second victim, who was described as a man in his 60s, was hospitalized but ultimately died of his injuries. The third victim, a man in his 50s, was hospitalized; His condition is unclear.

A possible motive for the shooting was not disclosed. Authorities have not released the names of the two men who were killed.
