One person is dead and three others were injured after a shooting in San Bernardino on the Fourth of July, police said Sunday.

The shooting was reported in the 1400 block of East Highland Avenue around 11:40 p.m., according to the San Bernardino Police Department. When officers arrived, they found two people who had been shot.

Police say two more people who had been shot were later found in the 1300 block of East Highland Avenue, where officers learned the shooting had happened.

All four of them were taken to the hospital, where one died, according to the department.

SBPD homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
