Authorities are attempting to find family members of a young child who was walking alone in the street in South Gate.

The child, about 3 to 4 years old with brown curly hair, was found near Mountain View Avenue and Santa Ana Street, police said. The child was described by police as non-verbal.

Police shared a photo of the boy in a social media post.
