A pursuit involving a murder suspect crashed late Thursday morning on a Hollywood street.

The chase began just before 11 a.m. near Schrader Boulevard and Selma Avenue and ended in a crash a short time later at Fountain and Cherokee avenues. The driver was taken into custody.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. A SUV ended up on its side in the street, but it was not immediately clear whether the vehicle was part of the chase.
