CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - A man from Maury City in Crockett County, Tenn., has been arrested on multiple sex crimes involving a minor, according to the Crockett County Sheriff's Office.

On October 25, Jonathan Beeler, 35, was charged with three counts of aggravated statutory rape and taken into custody, according to the Sheriff's Office.

 These are some of the most vile crimes, and protecting the children of this county is one of our highest responsibilities,  said Sheriff Troy N. Klyce.  I'm grateful to the parent who acted quickly and to our deputies who responded. Our investigators will follow this case wherever it leads. 

The Crockett County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating, and they said investigators expect to file further charges.
