Watch NBC6 free wherever you are WATCH HERE WATCH HERE Rojas told NBC affiliate WESH2 that he left his home at around 4 a.m., and when he was locking his door, he saw two young bears in his yard. Ring Camera footage captured one of the bears going up to him. Rojas said it bit his arm and clawed him in his rib cage. After he was attacked, Rojas ran down the street in his neighborhood and then called his girlfriend. I called my girlfriend, and she had heard me screaming, and I was telling her to bring me towels, I was bleeding all over the ground, he said. He was then taken to the hospital, where they gave him a tetanus and rabies shot. Following the attack, Rojas has not returned to his home and is staying in an RV at his parents' house until the bear is trapped. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident, and agents were seen in his neighborhood Friday night. On Aug. 13, the FWC approved the state's first black bear hunt in a decade. Earlier in May, an 89-year-old man and his dog were killed by a bear in Collier County, which is the first documented fatal bear attack in Florida. #nbcmiami #crimewatchmiami
