Milwaukee man charged in McDonald's shooting over caramel Frappés Four people, including an employee, were injured in the shooting.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the Milwaukee man charged in a McDonald's shooting that happened on June 19 near Holton Street and Capitol Drive.

Jahzir Collins, 18, is charged with four felony counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety as a party to a crime, one count of reckless use of a firearm as a party to a crime, and two misdemeanors of bail jumping.


According to the criminal complaint, surveillance video captured Collins and two other males and two females entering the McDonald's at 8:30 p.m. He was seen speaking with an employee about two caramel frappés. The employee exits the frame of the video, returns with the drinks, and then throws them into the garbage. The employee tells them he will not give them their drinks. Collins then gets angry and tells the employee to  come outside. 

Collins and everyone he was with then made their way to the door, the complaint states. The employee can be seen can be seen following them. Security camera footage from the parking lot shows Collins and others outside, and just as the employee passes the threshold of the door frame, Collins looks towards the employee with a gun and yells,  pop em, pop em, pop his (expletive).  Just after this, one of the males Collins is with pulls out a gun and points it at the door and starts shooting. The bullets shatter the glass door and customers inside, including children, scatter. Collins and the other males run north on Holton Avenue, and the females run south.

Police interviewed the manager of the McDonald's, who said that she recognized the three males who came into the restaurant that evening because they often go there to hang out and sometimes order food, the criminal complaint states. This time, three of them placed an order at one of the kiosks for two caramel Frappés.

During the investigation, officers were able to obtain the receipt that confirms an order was placed. The manager began making them when the previously mentioned employ
