Milwaukee family seeks answers after mother found shot in alley Investigators say Kristy Syed, 42, was found dead in an alley near 10th and Cleveland early Sunday morning. A Milwaukee family is seeking answers after a Milwaukee mother was found shot to death in an alley. Investigators say 42-year-old Kristy Syed was found in the early morning hours Sunday near 10th and Cleveland, on the city's south side. Syed's family said she was a mother to a 9-year-old boy, that she loved animals and helping others. Syed's family is desperate for answers about how and why she ended up dead in an alley during the holiday weekend. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office said the 42-year-old was wearing minimal clothing and was shot multiple times. It's absolutely devastating. The way that this person, whoever you are, did my sister so dirty, so dirty. You murdered her and then stripped her dignity even more and left her naked, Lynnette Stiff, Syed's older sister, said. Who does that? Stiff said a surveillance camera in the alley caught the crime. She described to WISN 12 News what she saw in the videos shown to her by the homeowner. I heard her voice in the in the video that they showed us, and she was begging for her life. She was begging for her life, and this monster didn't care. He was like, 'Nope, too bad.' And shot her, Stiff said. On Tuesday, police said they found a person of interest in the case dead and that while they're continuing to gather information in the case, they aren't seeking additional suspects. It's something that isn't sitting right with Syed's family. There's more to this story, and I need more investigation. I don't need them to just slap the case closed. I need more investigating because somebody else was in that vehicle with them, Stiff said. Stiff said she has visited the alley daily, searching for answers while mourning a mother whose life was cut short. She just wanted to live a simple life. She wanted to get a regular house with her and her son. Put a pool there, Stiff said. My sister absolutely did not deserve this whatsoever. #wisn #crimewatchmilwaukee
