A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened around midnight near the Keefe Avenue off-ramp, shutting down the freeway for hours. The northbound lanes reopened within the last hour. It was the second deadly crash on I-43 overnight.


The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said details are limited. Officials did not release any information about the victim or say whether the driver remained at the scene.
