Suspect arrested after Milwaukee grandfather killed in hit-and-run Milwaukee police said a 46-year-old man was arrested in the crash that killed Troy Lewek, but investigators are still searching for another suspect.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that killed a Milwaukee grandfather near South 22nd Street and West National Avenue. Milwaukee police said they are still seeking an additional suspect.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near 22nd and National on Milwaukee's south side. Surveillance video showed two cars struck Troy Lewek, 47, as he was in the roadway. Both drivers left the scene.


Police have not released additional details about the arrest, including possible charges or the circumstances that led investigators to the 46-year-old man.

Milwaukee police continue to ask for the public's help in identifying and locating the additional suspect connected to the case.
