Milwaukee police search for shooting suspect; one person injured Several vehicles riddled with bullets Milwaukee police are searching for the person responsible for a shooting that occurred Monday morning around 3:30 a.m. A 23-year-old was shot and transported to a hospital for non-fatal injuries. WISN News chopper video showed multiple nearby vehicles with bullet holes. The shooting happened at 14th Street and Groeling Avenue, near Locust Street. WISN 12 News saw several vehicles with bullet holes. Police searched a nearby home for the suspect but found no one. I jumped up, I looked out the side window, and I saw nothing but police coming from everywhere. ever since then it was just chaos out here. Plenty of police detectives and everything out here this morning, said a neighbor who woke up to gunfire. What exactly led up to the shooting is still under investigation.
