Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting in the Franklin Heights neighborhood. The shooting happened near West Hopkins Street and West Townsend Street shortly after midnight Wednesday.


Several police cars were in the area, with tape blocking the street. A car was on the sidewalk with all four doors open. Officers were also seen going into a nearby bar.

Authorities have not released further information regarding the shooting.
