Falling tree branch kills 55-year-old in Milwaukee The Milwaukee Police Department called it a 'workplace injury.'

A falling tree branch killed a 55-year-old on July 23, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

It happened near 61st Street and Kaul Avenue around 11 a.m., police said.


Police referred to it as a  workplace injury. 

The 55-year-old was taken to a hospital, but was pronounced dead.

WISN 12 News has reached out to Milwaukee police to confirm whether or not the victim was a worker, or a nearby resident, but have not heard back as of Saturday morning.
