15-year-old falls from overpass while running from West Milwaukee police Two people ran from the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Milwaukee, police said. The other suspect has not been found after running away on train tracks. A 15-year-old was taken to a hospital after falling from an overpass while running from West Milwaukee police early Monday. Police said they spotted a vehicle speeding at around 2:49 a.m. and followed it from Miller Park Way onto U.S. 175. Officers ended the chase and later found the disabled vehicle on Interstate 94 near the stadium. Two people ran from the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Milwaukee, police said. One person ran off the freeway onto the railroad tracks and hasn't been found, according to police. The 15-year-old climbed over an overpass ramp, fell and was injured, according to the department. MFD responded there and assisted WMPD bringing an individual who had fallen in the water and was now on the rocks, Milwaukee Fire said in a statement to WISN 12 News. The individual was removed without incident and transported to the hospital. Police said they plan to refer charges against the 15-year-old to Milwaukee Children's Court after the investigation is complete. The investigation is ongoing, and police said there is no threat to the community. #wisn #crimewatchmilwaukee
