Overnight Milwaukee shootings: 1 dead, 1 hurt

Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings from overnight Saturday. One of them was deadly.

Here's what we know:


77th   Carmen

Police say someone shot and killed a 42-year-old at around 2:30 a.m. near 77th Street   Carmen Avenue in the Silver Spring neighborhood.

12 News video showed several squad cars blocking off the neighborhood with crime tape.

A 12 News photojournalist also saw an FBI officer on scene investigating as well.

Milwaukee police say the victim died at the scene.

Officers have not arrested anyone.

94th   Thurston

A 24-year-old is recovering after being shot just after midnight near 94th Street   Thurston Avenue in the Silver Swan neighborhood.

Police say the victim was sent to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, but they are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made in this particular shooting either.
