Video shows man climbing through Taco Bell drive-thru with a gun

The New Orleans Police Department has released new video from an armed robbery at a Taco Bell.

Police said the robbery happened around 11:44 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the 4300 block of General De Gaulle Drive.

The suspect attempted to place an order on foot at the drive-thru window but was told by employees that this was against company policy, which led to his agitation.

NOPD said the man climbed through the window with a gun and demanded food from the staff.

Despite his threats, the employees refused to comply with his demands.

The suspect exited through the window and left the area on a motorized scooter.
