Man accused of attempted bank robbery, hit-and-run crash arrested in Ozaukee County Police say the suspect, wearing a ski mask, targeted banks in Grafton and Cedarburg before a hit-and-run crash and a brief chase

Grafton police arrested a man wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Ozaukee County. The arrest followed a series of events Tuesday in Grafton and Cedarburg.

Police shared surveillance photos and said a man wearing a ski mask first tried to get into a Grafton bank Tuesday. The business alarm sounded, and he ran off.


About two and a half hours later, a man police said matched the same description walked into a Cedarburg bank and demanded money. The bank alarm sounded again, and the man ran to a car.

Police said that car was later involved in a hit-and-run crash in Grafton. They arrested the man after a brief chase.

He is being held at the Ozaukee County Jail.
