4 Mayor Mamdani - at City Hall on Tuesday - announced his administration will be releasing more than 170,000 pages of documents shedding new light on the air quality around Ground Zero in the months following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Paul Martinka for NY Post

Mamdani has maintained that he will attend the memorial ceremony Friday and other commemorative events this week. He also signed two executive orders last week including one to establish September 11 as a  Citywide Day of Remembrance Service.
