Strategic Response Group must be disbanded as quickly as possible, and Commissioner Tisch must step down. 

Notably missing from the six-paragraph tirade was any mention of Mamdani - who appointed Tisch as the city's top cop and can remove her at any time.

Hizzoner promised during the campaign to disband the SRG, the NYPD unit that typically responds to protests - like the one that unfolded Thursday night outside a hospital where Oscar Belgal, 28, was brought after he was shot.

It wasn't immediately clear if the SRG was called on, or if other police units responded, before ICE agents whisked Belgal, a Dominican Republic national, away in a car, en route to a federal immigration detention facility in New Jersey.

Mamdani has so far refused to disband the SRG.
