Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar's home was raided early Monday morning by the Department of Homeland Security as part of an ongoing criminal fraud investigation into the Somali-born congresswoman's immigration paperwork.

 Today in the Washington, D.C. area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice,  a DOJ spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

 This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation,  the spokesperson added.

Multiple agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) jackets were seen outside Omar's Washington, DC home early on Monday, Fox News reported.

Two sources close to the investigation told the outlet that the raid is part of an investigation into the left-wing Democrat's immigration documents, which were filled out by her late father when she was a child.

It comes just weeks after Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that Omar was under an ongoing  criminal  investigation.

Omar has long been dogged by allegations that she married her brother in order to help him secure a US visa or student loans.

Omar and Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a British citizen, were married in 2009. They divorced in 2017.

The progressive Democrat has also been accused of entering the US in 1995 under a false name or secondary family identity to bypass refugee processing backlogs.
