Gallagher is currently starring on season 11 of Below Deck Med, where Cameron has popped up in guest appearances with their child. That installment filmed last year; season 12 is actively filming.

The reality star addressed the arrest in an Aug. 27 statement with Rolling Stone, where he said  what has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation. 

 I'm not claiming I was perfect. I wasn't. I made mistakes and I will take responsibility for my own actions. But I will not accept being portrayed solely through one person's account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it,  his statement read in part.  My priority is being recognised as his father, establishing a relationship with him and ultimately finding a way for both of us to move forward and co-parent peacefully.
