Kirk Franklin is entering a new chapter in his career, as the gospel legend has entered a partnership with Uptown Records.

Announced on Tuesday (Sept. 8), Franklin's partnership with Uptown Records is in conjunction with the Grammy Award-winning musician's Fo Yo Soul Entertainment label and TRIBL Music Group.

According to Franklin, joining forces with Uptown Records has been a positive experience, as the 56-year-old expressed his gratitude for the label welcoming him with open arms.  To be a part of the Uptown family is a genuine honor,  Franklin said in a press release.

 I feel energized by the entire team's enthusiasm and support already. It's a blessing, and I'm beyond thankful and excited for what the future holds. Let's make history together!

In celebration of the partnership, Franklin released the music video for  Thank You For Everything,  his single featuring gospel legend Karen Clark Sheard of the Clark Sisters. The video was premiered live on BET Her.
