Alexia Umansky revealed she was sexually assaulted seven years ago - and told her dad, Mauricio Umansky, about the traumatic experience for the first time on camera during  Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. 

During Thursday's episode of the Fox reality series, Alexia, 30, explained to the directing staff (DS) what motivated her to join the competition, saying she wanted to prove her courage  after what happened  to her, according to Us Weekly.

When asked to share more about her experience, Alexia recalled,  Seven years ago, I was on a trip with some friends, and I was with people I trust. I was put to bed because I had a little too much to drink, and I woke up and I could tell something had happened.

Alexia went on to explain that she  didn't even have the power or consciousness to say no  to her assaulter.

 I felt completely objectified, and I had a lot of pain and anger because of that,  she continued.  At the one-year mark, I decided that happiness is a choice, and I was going to choose to put it away. But it still hurts. 

In a confessional, Alexia revealed that she had never told her family about being  taken advantage of.

 When you bring other people into it, it just becomes more of a conversation. And maybe a conversation was what I needed, but I just wasn't ready,  she said.

Alexia eventually opened up to Mauricio, 56, about the assault in front of the other recruits.
