Sweeney's  Euphoria  co-star Sharon Stone was recently asked about the controversy and said it was up to the  Anyone But You  actress  to take responsibility for her actions. 

Stone told People that her own part was  to be a cheerleader for the women who have made it through and become champions in women's sports. 

The  Basic Instinct  star, 68, added that the focus of women's sports should not be on getting  men's attention.
