ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An AMBER Alert has been issued due to a missing child out of St. Louis County.

Police say they are looking for Rudo Chiturumani, 8. Authorities say her non-custodial father took her from Shadycreek Court in unincorporated St. Louis.

The father, Munyaradzi Chiturumani allegedly stabbed Rudo Chiturumani's mother and then took his daughter.

Police say the two were in a dark blue 2017 Ford Edge with Maryland license plate number 2GY1598. However, that car was later found abandoned in Frontenac, but Munyaradzi Chiturumani and Rudo Chiturumani have not been located.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
