(First Alert 4) - An investigation is underway after officers called to a sick case found a man shot in North St. Louis County, who later died from his injuries. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers were called to the 2100 block of Empire Court at around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a sick case. When officers arrived, they found Darren Henderson, 43, of the 2100 block of Empire Court in St. Louis, with gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died. Police say a suspect is in custody. According to police, the preliminary investigation shows that Henderson was shot by the suspect following an argument. This is an active investigation.
