(First Alert 4) - Family members and friends of those lost to fentanyl gathered Saturday morning at Chain of Rocks Park for the Walk for Lives, an event organized to honor victims and raise awareness about fentanyl in the community. The walk was organized by Second Chance at Life, a local organization focused on fentanyl awareness and community support. The walk was one of dozens happening across the county Saturday. Jim Willfred, president of Second Chance at Life, said the event serves both as a community support opportunity and a continued awareness effort. We need to keep doing this. We need to keep making sure people understand this. And it is also a form of healing for so many, Willfred said. The event also featured a Wall of Memory. Organizers encouraged attendees to submit photos of their loved ones impacted by fentanyl. #firstalert4 #crimewatchstlouis
