 If they aren't guided they are misguided. This is the situation of two misguided teens. In times like these we're asking why but the question should be how. How can we help. How can we prevent,  Councilman LaVondo Pulley said.

Hodges said not only is help needed right now, but it will also be critical in the long-term.

 After all of this is over and everyone is going away and the cameras are gone and the rallying is gone, these people will still be suffering,  Hodges said.

Illinois State Police said it also connects victims of violence to resources. ISP said both families in this incident have called for that help.
