ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured another.

On Thursday morning, two men were dropped off at a hospital with gunshot wounds, according to SLMPD. One of the men died, and the other man is in critical condition.

Police are investigating at the 6500 block of Scanlan Avenue in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood, where investigators believe the shooting took place.

The investigation remains ongoing.
