ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A 13-year-old boy was wounded when shots were exchanged between two cars in downtown St. Louis Saturday night.

Police say the shooting happened just after 11:00 p.m. on Broadway near Walnut.

Officers say the teen was riding in a car with his father when they drove around another car. Words were exchanged between the two drivers before the suspect fired shots into the car the teen was in.

Police say the teen's father returned fire.

The father then drove his son to the hospital; the teen was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
